Billy Crosbie produced the annual Family Christmas Show in the Dining Room Theatre at the Blue Haven Hotel, Kinsale.
‘Mad about Christmas’ was a light- hearted show looking at Christmas through the ages and filled with popular, sometimes poignant, songs, music and fun at the party. Last year’s cabaret style was taken a step further, as local guests and celebrities (check the title) joined the team to take part in bringing happy, seasonal entertainment to the centre of town. The intention was to give the audience some true Christmas spirit and to lighten hearts at this time of goodwill.
Running for five nights in December the show was a great success. One of the nights was dedicated to the senior citizens in the town, and they look forward to this annual outing. All proceeds (€2,500.00) went directly to Local Kinsale Charities.
